Canons of the Code 1983
All the canons that are found in the in iure and in the in facto part of the decisions are reported in the sources.

Legal Summary
1. Causa gravis ad supprimendum monasterium habetur quoties sodales numero ita parvo reducuntur ut vita religiosa contemplativa iuxta constitutiones amplius agi non potest, dum nulla fundata spes adsit ut foederatio adiutorium afferre possit cum sororibus aliunde provenientibus (in casu, tempore suppressionis tantum duae sorores, quarum una graviter aegrota erat, pleno iure in monasterio remanebant).
1. Si ha causa grave per la soppressione di un monastero tutte le volte che i membri si riducono ad un numero così piccolo che la vita religiosa contemplativa non può più essere vissuta secondo le costituzioni, mentre non vi sia alcuna fondata speranza che la federazione possa apportare un aiuto con sorelle provenienti da altre parti (nel caso, al tempo della soppressione rimanevano in monastero in pieno diritto solo due sorelle, una delle quali gravemente ammalata).
2. Vix ne vix quidem sermo esse potest de violatione praescripti can. 50 ob defectum auditionis, cum sorores de proposita monasterii suppressione epistolis atque per visitationem canonicam ad easdem audiendas peractam certiores factae sint.2. A mala pena, anzi per nulla, si può parlare di violazione del prescritto del can. 50 per mancato ascolto, se le sorelle sono state informate della volontà di sopprimere il monastero tramite lettere e una visita canonica destinata ad ascoltare le medesime.
