Canons of the Code 1983
All the canons that are found in the in iure and in the in facto part of the decisions are reported in the sources.
The canons that constitute the main object of the decision or on which the decision sets out a principle of interpretation are reported in bold.
The canons of the 1983 Code are shown in italics:
- if they do not appear in the text of the decision but if the decision deals with them;
- if they correspond to canons of the 1917 Code, of which the decision (prior to 1983) deals.

Legal Summary
1. Obiectum renuntiationis a sacerdote Ordinario praebitae, qua in statum quiescentiae poni petit, ex adiunctis probandum est (in casu sacerdos, nullum aliud officium detinens, petitione de qua officio canonicatus renuntiavit).
2. Ius ad honores canonicatus absque oneribus seu munere ex iure communi non competit (in casu nec ex particulari capituli statuto).
1. L’oggetto della rinuncia presentata all’Ordinario da un sacerdote che chiede di essere posto in quiescenza, si deve provare in base alle circostanze (nel caso il sacerdote, che non detiene alcun altro ufficio, con la domanda de qua ha rinunciato all’ufficio di canonico).
2. Non compete per diritto comune il diritto agli onori di canonico senza gli oneri o la funzione (nel caso neppure in base agli statuti particolari del capitolo).
