About us
The website www.iuscangreg.it aims to offer the ecclesial community, scholars, professionals and all interested parties a scientific and pastoral reference tool that is fast, comprehensive and constantly updated. We are committed to facilitating access to, the study of, and the application of canon law through the systematic presentation of the main normative sources, jurisprudence, international agreements and scholarly literature in the field of canon law. Born from the centuries-old academic tradition of our Faculty, the website aims to be a digital bridge to promote knowledge of the law of the Church, supporting scientific research and the work of tribunals and professionals in the field around the world. It is our intention to keep the website free of charge and without advertising.

Prof. Ulrich Rhode started the website in 2015. He is responsible for coordinating the content.
Prof. G. Paolo Montini manages the page on the jurisprudence of the Apostolic Signatura in contentious-administrative matters.

Dr. Mirjam Kovac manages the canon law bibliography, which was published from 1993 to 2021 in the journal Periodica de re canonica and has been incorporated into the website www.iuscangreg.it since 2022. She is also responsible for the messages sent to the website’s editorial staff.
In addition, many others contribute to our website, for example by helping us with translations, reporting typing errors, or suggesting additions. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the professors and students of the Faculty, as well as to all external visitors, who support us with their help.
